Valerie Dicke is the President of Capital Artfinders, Inc. with over
twenty-five years experience in the art world.
After earning her degree in Studio Arts with a focus on drawing and printmaking from the University of North CarolinaChapel Hill, she continued creating her own artwork and worked for private galleries in North Carolina and Washington, DC.
Shortly after moving to Washington, DC, she worked for a private art consulting firm researching, presenting and selling artwork to interior designers and architects, and corporate, health care, hospitality and residential clients in the US and abroad.
She met her current business partner, Felicia Serpan, while working for this art consulting firm and they spent over ten years together as directors of the art consulting and framing divisions of the company, respectively.
They developed a strong and rewarding business relationship which is evident by the large base of satisfied clients who continue to seek their professional guidance and services. |

Felicia Serpan is the Managing Partner of Capital Artfinders, Inc. With over 20 years experience in the Picture Framing and Art Industries.
With her father being a fine Artist, she has been surrounded by art since birth. She originally started her career into the fashion world specializing in merchandising and display. With her love of design and art she then decided to go into the Picture framing business and started to work for a Wholesale Moulding Company. She helped design new picture frames; she all so learned to do picture framing herself and was one of the sales representatives for the company. As a sales rep she made numerous contacts in the framing industry that have stood by her there her career. She found she really enjoyed and had a talent for picking out frames for art that complimented the piece and gave it a unique and special touch. She then decided she wanted to be more hands on and to work with individuals to find the perfect frame for their art, so she went to work for a wholesale picture frame shop. In this position she over saw the running of the business overseeing jobs as small as one piece to jobs as large as 3000 pieces, as well as working with designers and individuals to find the frame that fit their budget as well as their art.
Felicia has gained a loyal following of clients due to the quality of her work and the heart and soul she puts into every product.
